(WWW) We must have seen and heard this somewhere. Means to say that (www) World Wide Web, when we search on Google about someone or something, we usually use the search engine before searching.
Before searching do we know what www is, why it is used. Who had invented it?

1. WWW Invention

The World Wide Web was invented by Tim Berners – Lee and Robert Cailliau in 1989,

It was fully launched in August 6, 1991.the day the World Wide Web was started for the general public and people, They were used well, but people had to face problems in the beginning as neither the pages were well prepared in the beginning nor there were any good web browsers but for the first time the display of internet was on Christmas Day in 1990.

      3. First server establishment?

The first server was built in Europe in December 1991 under the name SLAC. Initially, some days had to be paid to use the World Wide Web, and on 30 April 1993 CERN announced that WWW would be made free to all and that there would be no backlog. A declaration of the Gopher protocol, which runs like WWW, now that its service is no longer free, due to which the trend of people turned to the web instead of Gopher very quickly. (ViolaWWW) was an early popular web browser based on hyper cards.

     4. First browser for (www)

The first to be popular for the World Wide Web (WWW) is ViolaWWW browser now it is a discontinued browser. It was first released in 1991/1992 for UNIX and acted as the recommended browser at CERN, where the WWW was invented, but eventually lost its position due to most frequently used browser

According to a 2001 survey, there are more than 550 billion documents in the web as data on the World Wide Web and according to the 2002 survey, 2024 million web pages were in English, which is more than 56.4%. German (7.7%), French (5.6%) and Japanese (4.9%) etc. and by March 2008 over 100.1 million web sites were functioning in the WWW and their volume is increasing day by day. It would not be stop. Data will keep increase according to search requirement.
